My equipment is not used by the coach
The Freeletics Coach designs training plans based on your available equipment and the Training journey you are in. Therefore, make sure that you've correctly added and configured your equipment within the app. Here's how:
Adding and Managing Your Equipment:
- Open the Freeletics App (Make sure you have the latest version installed on your device).
- Navigate to the “Coach” Tab
- Access the settings: Tap the gear icon in the top right corner of the Coach screen.
- Select “Equipment”
- Manage Your Equipment: Here, you can add, remove, and configure your available equipment. Important Note: For versatile equipment like a gym rack, you'll need to individually activate each specific exercise or piece of equipment associated with it. For example, you may need to activate the pull-up bar, squat rack, and bench press components separately.
If your equipment is not used by the Coach:
- Make sure your equipment is compatible with your current Training Journey. You can check this in your coach settings: Coach tab > Settings > Equipment > All > And locate equipment that has a small ‘c’ icon.
Equipment that has this icon is likely to be used by your coach to set up your workout.
- If your equipment isn't compatible, it doesn't stop there. You can use it with on-demand exercises and in the Workout Builder.
- Some equipment is available only in some Bodyweight Training Journeys. For a list of all equipment that is integrated in Bodyweight Training Journeys visit this article: Adjust your Bodyweight Training Journey.
- Important note: over the coming months, we will be gradually adding new equipment. We therefore invite you to check regularly whether your equipment is supported by your current Training Journey.
