Risks of training when sick

If you are affected by a cold, flu or any other diseases, you have to take a break from training. The positive effects of high intensity training act contrary to a weakened immune system. The risk of a heart muscle inflammation is then increased significantly. Be especially careful with febrile illness or when taking antibiotics. Please consult with your doctor in this case. Your physician will tell you for how long you will need to take a break.
